Cookie Policy
How this website uses cookies and browser storage.
Last updated: 14 September 2026.
About cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can support essential functions or be used for purposes such as analytics and advertising.
Visiting this website
SAPPHIRE LAW LTD does not currently use analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking cookies on this website. Ordinary browsing and submitting the consultation form do not require a visitor cookie. Website fonts and images are served from our own domain.
The consultation form includes a security token within the page to validate submissions. This token is not stored as a visitor cookie. Submission rate limits are maintained on the server, rather than in your browser. Information submitted through the form is covered by our Privacy Policy.
WordPress sign-in
The separate WordPress sign-in and administration areas may use essential cookies. These are used for authentication, security and administration preferences, rather than advertising.
- wordpress_test_cookie: checks whether the browser accepts cookies when the sign-in page is used. This is a session cookie.
- wordpress_[hash], wordpress_sec_[hash] and wordpress_logged_in_[hash]: identify an authenticated session. Browser-session cookies are normally used unless Remember Me is selected, which can keep the sign-in active for up to 14 days.
- wp-settings-[user ID] and wp-settings-time-[user ID]: store administration display preferences for signed-in users, typically for up to one year.
These administration functions do not require ordinary website visitors to sign in.
Your choices
You can inspect, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential sign-in cookies may prevent access to the WordPress administration area. As we do not currently use optional tracking cookies, this website does not display an optional-cookie consent banner.
If optional cookies or similar technologies requiring consent are introduced, we will update this policy and provide a choice before those technologies are used. Rejecting or withdrawing consent will be available through the relevant controls.
